There’s something interesting about watching a digital asset grow over time. Not just the price, but the attention around it. I think Solana has quietly built that kind of attention.
This article was created as my complements to Solana team and the entire project network. For their amazing strength on the crypto market. Both on the futures market and our beloved spot.
For many people stepping into crypto today, the goal is simple. Buy something valuable. Hodl it. Or trade it when the opportunity appears.
Understanding The Current Situation
Before you think of buying anything tho, there is something every digital explorer need to be aware of.
If you are in Nigeria, you already know this part can be tricky. On Binance, direct purchases using debit card are almost never available. We don’t have a credit card so no need talking about that for now.
This is due to ongoing issues between Binance and the Nigerian government. There have been reports of legal concerns and restrictions affecting how users interact with the platform.
But you can still use Binance, with the other trading options.
Open Trading Options
- Spot trading
- Futures trading
- Holding assets like Solana
The key is knowing the right path to follow based on jurisdiction.

What Makes Solana Worth Looking At
Solana is known for speed. It processes transactions as a high speed rate, compared to many other blockchains. This is one reason traders and investors keep eyes closely on it.
In real terms, Solana allows for:
- Fast transfers
- Low fees
- More activity happening on the network
If you are someone who trades often or plans to hold for a long term, Sol network becomes attractive.
How Buying Solana Actually Works
Buying Sol is as straightforward as going to the market to purchase a product and waiting to sell it off when there’s profit from the purchase.

From experience, small careful steps are better than fast mistakes.
Solana has been one of the assets i explore the most, both in trading and holding. Platforms like Binance make it accessible, even when conditions are not perfect.
The situation in Nigeria may not be fully clear yet. But the digital space continues to move.
And if you are part of this space, then learning how to move within it is what matters most. Take your time. Understand the process. Then act when you are ready. That is how you stay in the game.
