3 – Talk About Jumia

Always priding themself as Nigeria’s Online Shopping Giant. šŸ¬ Holding its position in the Nigerian online shopping market. Irrespective of some of the awful reviews from some unpleased customers, Jumia has held on for the longest.

Not just for clothes but a stop shop for everything you Need when you’re in Nigeria. Well there you have it.

One thing about Jumia is, it’s been around forever in the Nigerian online shopping scene. No matter what the reviews have been, it’s still standing tall. Pushing to be bigger with every criticism.

Some call it Nigeria’s No. 1 online store, and honestly, that’s not an exaggeration. Say Amazon US, say Jumia Nigeria.
You can pretty much find anything on Jumia, Phones, laptops, fashion, home items, even food items, (groceries).

Amazing work building this massive platform with connection to thousands of sellers with buyers all across the country. From Lagos to Abuja and even smaller towns, usually having a pickup station around somewhere.

Here’s The Thing tho, Jumia More a Marketplace

That means you’ll see all kinds of sellers, and of course, that comes with a mix of experiences.

Some people have smooth transactions; others will tell you about a product that wasn’t exactly what they ordered. So yeah, a little caution would be nice when you make a purchase. It’s advisable to always check reviews and seller ratings before buying. We always look twice when it has to do with gadgets or branded stuff.

How ever, this is shoutout to them for what they’ve built. After investing heavily in logistics, which we can tell, not excluding warehouses, delivery systems, and all that. The company basically created an online market infrastructure in Nigeria when hardly anyone else was doing it.

And for those of us who shop online, Jumia’s sales events like Black Friday or Tech Week are always interesting to watch. The discounts can be real if you catch them early before they sell out.

There’s downside as to using Jumia tho, delivery delays can happen, especially if you’re outside some cities. And sometimes those big ā€œflash dealsā€ aren’t quite as shocking as they sound. But compared to most local options, it’s still one of the more reliable ways to get what you need without moving around too much.

Now, if you’re like me and you’re into tech, blogging, or affiliate marketing, Jumia actually gives you a chance to explore with them.

Review products you buy from Jumia on your blog or YouTube. Earn a little commission when people shop through your links. Shop @Jumia.com.ng/category-fashion.
